Here’s what I’ve been up to in the first twenty days of April:
- Grad school: 3 midterms, 3 group projects. 4 weeks left until I’m done with the first year
- Easter!
- Picnic lunches at the playground
- We heard the new baby’s heartbeat. Beautiful.
- Third anniversary: a weekend escape in Scottsdale
- Lawn: Seriously, my lawn looks awesome. It’s actually better than the doctor who lives next door.
- Launched a new web project: lifeteen.com/mystory
- Running with Candyce and Norah as often as possible. Enjoying the mild spring weather before summer hits.
- Dinner party at the Berghoffs
- Hosted a massive meeting at work.
- Organized and hosted a team-building activity at work.
- Watched the Suns lose to the Blazers in the first game of the playoffs. I am sad but not discouraged.
- Obsessing over the 2011 Chrysler 300. What will it look like? I think about this way too much.
…and now, back to work…

The minimal class length in my MBA program is four hours. Some classes are eight hours long! It’s hard to keep my energy up through those long classes, so I’ll do whatever it takes to stay alert. If I feel lonely in the class, I’ll look at photos of Norah on my computer. If I’m feeling intellectually disconnected, I’ll skim the headlines on the Wall Street Journal. If I’m feeling uninspired, I check the blogs for cool custom cars. Here’s a couple I’ve found…
Here’s a cool Chrysler 300 that’s for sale here locally in Phoenix. I love the big rims and ride height.

How can you not love what Chrysler/Dodge has done in the past several years? The Dodge Magnum, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger are all cool cars that ordinary guys can afford. It’s a shame that the company’s ownership has changed so many times in the past decade. It makes it harder to embrace their cars when don’t know who’s in charge. To use a sports analogy, it’s hard to cheer for a team if they change coaches every other season.
A cool custom Dodge Challenger…
