I stayed up late into this morning working on my final line drawings for my senior thesis. After this, I only have a few more deadlines.

I look forward to getting out of this travel/study cycle. It is good, don’t get me wrong, but it is getting old. I have next to no leisure in the comfort of my own home, only in distant towns and cities. I know there will be plenty of years to sleep in late on a Saturday morning, then get up and make some toast. There are plenty of rainy Sundays left to read books and listen to music. But, I won’t always be Matt from “The Real World,” so I’ve got to work this while I can. It is kind of neat, knowing the pleasures/experiences to come after this ruckus calms. I won’t be devastated when the quiet sets in.

In a few hours my flight leaves for Michigan. It will be kind of cool breaking up my week like this. Well, I am going to sign off so I can take a little nap so I won’t suck at my talk tonight.
