Here’s a summary I wrote for tonight’s episode.

Mission 10: Rolling on a River
I’m hoping the Real World will turn this game around soon.

  • Sarah says that this show would be called “Me and my Gauntlet.” That’s prophetic.
  • So the competition is pretty much an old-fashioned log-rolling contest. I wish I could’ve been there for this one, because I trained hard on balance before the show.
The camera on the log made for some cool footage.
Mike walks forward on the log like he’s on “Double Dragon”
    Oops. Road Rules wins. Again.
  • I do lean towards RW, but I don’t get angry when RW loses. I have friends on both teams. By a random re-shuffling of the deck during casting, I could’ve ended up on Road Rules.

Voting and Booting:

  • I am happy to se Mike wearing one of my Bayside High shirts. Get them at http://www.lifeteen.com
  • Life Teen.com banner on the wall! I was so happy Theo sent that up.
  • You can see a quick shot of a crucifix I hung on the wall.
  • Rachel had grace going out. She understands she’s not done well and she deserves to go. If you have to leave, do it with dignity. Good job Rachel!
  • LT dodges the Gauntlet, and Sarah’s back in the pit. When
  • Sarah and I sat next to each other on the bus on the first day, I never would imagine she’d go through all of this. Wow.

Friends made Foes:

  • When Sarah and Rachel are talking in the hall, you can see the bar behind them. The production kept this stocked full of alcohol. Drunk 20-somethings makes for scandalous TV.
  • You see Rachel and Sarah in the confessional together. This is one of the few confessional shots I’ve seen on the show.
At the Gauntlet, you can see kids from the resort on the roof peering over to watch the show. They’ll grow up and remember the day when reality TV was cool, and they saw some of it happen.
  • Sarah took out David, Me, Trischelle, and now Rachel. She’s superwoman.
  • It’s a touching ending…I am glad the editors sapped it up.
RW top-floor room seemed doomed. First it was David, then Montana, me, Elka, and now Rachel. Theo is the only one who’s left.
