I snapped some photos an eventful day of moving big fat built-in refrigerators. The plan was to hire some pros to make sure my new fridge showed up in good shape. But our greatest plans are often torpedoed by the unknown. Click on the photos below to see how the day went.

Now that we have refrigeration, Candyce and I no longer living out of a picnic cooler. Life is beautiful.

I want to re-state a critical part of this whole ordeal because I do not want anyone to miss it. I called a half-dozen friends to see if they could help me pickup the new fridge. Everyone had something going on and were not able to help. After thirty minutes and no help, I posted the following Facebook status:

Can one of my manly man friends help me move a fridge? It’s big and heavy, but I have a moving truck and a dolly. I can move it as soon as one of you calls me. 2 hrs max. What’s in it for you? Treasure in heaven AND homemade muffins. Text me if you can help.

I got a call 2 minutes later from Joe B. and soon we were off to get the U-haul. How cool is that?
