Georgia Tech just lost 14-10 to Notre Dame. This was a tough game to watch, because I like Georgia Tech because I got my bachelor’s from there. But I’ve been the the campus of Notre Dame about 10 time since I got my diploma from Georgia Tech. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted GT to win, but if we have to lose to someone, I’m happy to lose to Notre Dame.

Kevin, Carolina, and Adam came over for a cook out to watch the game. These are the things I do when Candyce is gone—I entertain friends.

Deep down, I know there were plenty of things that I would not accomplish because I was getting ready for the party. But I’ve been an over-achiever long enough to know that I can find useless things to achieve. I mean really, do I remember how many errands I ran three weeks ago? No. But I always remember the time I spend with good people. So that’s what I did tonight, and I don’t regret it at all.
